Alpha Phi Omega
Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed, non-residential service fraternity at MIT. Members participate in small service projects weekly, and host several large events on campus. Book Exchange is run at the beginning of each term, and students and community members can sell and buy books at their own price. Big Screw is a yearly event to poke fun at professors who have "screwed over" the students in some way. Each professor running chooses a charity, and each penny for their charity counts as a vote. The winning professor is awarded a large engraved screw, and the money raised goes to their charity of choice.
