The Edgerton Center’s third annual student showcase

In April, 14 student-led engineering teams showed off their work, including racecars, rockets, bike-powered blenders, and adaptive game controllers. MIT’s Edgerton Center clubs provide students with the tools and knowledge to “take on all kinds of engineering challenges for fun and competition around the world.”

Making ambitious, scrappy musical theater

Since 1971, the MIT Musical Theater Guild has produced a wide variety of ambitious, creative, and quirky shows. This student-run club invites members from all across the MIT community to participate in four shows a year!

Blending art and science on the nanoscale

The class 4.373/4.374 (Creating Art, Thinking Science) is a collaboration between MIT’s Art, Culture, and Technology (ACT) program and MIT.nano. Students use cutting-edge equipment for nanoscale visualization and fabrication as their artistic playground.
